Where are you from?
I’m from a village near Budapest, Hungary.
What was your undergraduate degree?
MA (Hons) English
Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
I think the idea of working in an industry which is always changing and evolving is what attracted me to digital roles first. I decided to apply after finishing a short online course which made want to get a more comprehensive understanding of all the different aspects involved in digital marketing.
What do you like best about the course so far?
Being able to talk to the clients we are working with (even if only through Zoom) has been extremely helpful. I have also enjoyed working in teams and seeing our different viewpoints and ideas come together to reach common ground about the campaign proposal we were working on.
What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
My favourite ‘lockdown discovery’ from 2020 would be the app called SLOWLY, which aims to connect people through recreating the traditional pen pal experience in digital form. The time it takes to deliver a letter through the platform depends on the location of the recipient – this can vary from hours to days, encouraging users to slow down for a second before hitting the send button. It’s completely anonymous and great for practicing languages!

My first phone was a famously indestructible Nokia 3310 which has been through a lot over the years. Thinking about this always reminds me of how far technology has come since then.
