Where are you from?
I’m originally from the Philippines but I have lived in Inverness for most of my life. I consider both my home!
What was your undergraduate degree?
I did my undergraduate degree at RGU, studying BA (Hons) Management with Marketing.
Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
After graduating, there wasn’t really any job going around, plus with the global pandemic happening, I couldn’t really go anywhere. So, I decided, to further my skills in marketing to make myself even more employable!
What do you like best about the course so far?
I really like the nice blend of practical and theoretical applications, unlike my bachelor’s, this focusses on client work and building up our practical marketing portfolio which really helps us when applying for jobs.
What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
With the abundance of apps and websites out there in the world, it’s really hard to pick one! But if I had to go with one, I would pick, Facebook as it allows me to keep in touch with people, relatives and friends from around the world – especially during this pandemic!
Tell us a random fact about yourself!
Because of my heritage and where I was brought up, I can speak and write two languages fluently (English and Filipino-Tagalog).
