Where are you from?
Aberdeen!

What was your undergraduate degree?
BA(hons) International Tourism Management

Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
After spending time learning the basics of Marketing at RGU, I was intrigued to further develop my understanding of the world of marketing. A genuine interest in marketing was sparked, and I started to pay attention to the instances of it in my everyday life (indirect marketing such as billboards, radio and tv adverts, and more direct approaches such as the emails I receive to my inbox). In this ever-changing landscape, I believed the opportunity to study an Msc in Digital Marketing would help me to secure a solid future, thanks to the employability that the Robert Gordon University has to offer. After University I hope to either go into Marketing, or into a degree that will allow me to use skills from both this course and my BA(Hons) International Tourism Management.

What do you like best about the course so far?
Learning to code HTML and CSS during the ‘Digital Production Tools and Techniques’ module was really interesting.

What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
Instagram! I really enjoy being able to share images and videos with the people I care about.
