Where are you from?

What was your undergraduate degree?
B.SC(Hon) Industrial technical education at University Of Nigeria

Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
Despite having over 5 years of experience as a Digital and performance marketing specialist working in a variety of industries, such as financial services, retail, technology, FMCG, and agencies, I felt I lacked the requisite media theoretical knowledge — due to my undergraduate degree in education. As such, an MSC in digital marketing will expose me to a broader view of marketing, the growing significance of digital media, and the impact these activities have on people, organizations, and society.

What do you like best about the course so far?
It is an interactive course and you have control over the learning process. Also, working with live clients and industry experts, as well as experiencing the marketing industry firsthand, has been extremely beneficial.

What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
Nairaland: The Nigerian forum site is arguably the largest forum site in Africa and the second-largest in the world after Reddit (source: Alexa). The website is the leading source for disseminating current and top-rated information covering a wide range of topics, such as sports, education, politics, lifestyles, crime reports, etc. You should definitely try out this platform if you’re a content marketer and media buyer.

Tell us a random fact about yourself!
